Chip Foose Mach Foose Mustang SEMA 2017 When 1971 Mach 1 meets 2011 GT Mustang Connection
Chip Foose just unveiled his 1971 Mach 1 Mustang. Chip and his team are dropped the classic 71' Mustang body onto a modern 2011 Mustang GT, extending the wheelbase by 3 inches. The front end is completely restructured with new strut towers and a streamlined engine bay.
The flatness of the 71's stock rear quarters were replaced with quarters from a 1970 Sportsroof Mustang. These new panels added a new shape and width to fit larger rear wheels & tires.
The car is powered by a naturally aspirated Coyote engine and automatic transmission . The interior and subframe are all 2011 GT giving this a classic look with all of the custom comforts and performance of a modern Mustang.
